Chanel T. McCarthy


Chanel T. McCarthy, Esq. concentrates her practice in the area of commercial litigation, including matters of contract, real property, insurance, administrative compliance, and employment.  Ms. McCarthy regularly handles matters involving State Liquor Authority investigations, violations, and a variety of licensing matters.  She has significant experience with specific business licensing and employment issues affecting the hospitality industry.  She also has particular familiarity with the evolving concept of diminished value damages in New York State.  Ms. McCarthy handles cases in City, County, Supreme, and Appellate Court.  In addition, Ms. McCarthy regularly assists clients with various estate and trust matters.

Ms. McCarthy is admitted to practice in all Courts of New York State as well as Federal and Bankruptcy Courts.  She has been with the firm for over 10 years as both a law clerk and a lawyer after receiving her Juris Doctorate from the State of New York at Buffalo School of Law.

Chanel is a founding board member and officer of the Transplant Miracles Foundation, Inc. (TMF).  She is a member of the Bar Associations of Erie County and New York State.  She has presented CLE programs regarding attorneys’ use of technology in the practice of law, and their ethical obligations in using technology.
